Hey @Raxxanterax - Just a small correction to the video, if you look at the tooltip at the top of the shipping screen it says that 1 refined bar is worth 5 ore for shipping purposes. But to get 1 refined bar you only need to smelt 1 ore. So say the harbor at 3:30 in the video wants the 4000 Orichalcum (total ore and bars), you would only need to send 800 bars of Orichalcum to meet their rewards, versus the 4000 "raw" Orichalcum.

Couple of corrections here for everyone.
1. Bars have 5x the value of ore, but it takes only 1 ore to make 1 bar. So, unless you need ore for a town upgrade, only ever ship bars.

2. Bismuth makes monsters harder which makes them drop more gold. So do bismuth first if you can tolerate it.

3. Use lesser eldrich ichor on items you want to disenchant. It bumps up the dust you get by a lot

4. We're testing a theory where fulfill a ports ore/farm requirements increases a global "reputation level" that then acts as a modifier to your shipping rewards. Just target the port rewards hard.

5. Upgrade the town recruits first. Each level higher is 50% more efficiency. Recruit peope who are only good at one job, because wages are based on all the jobs they can do, but they only ever do one.

6. You do not pay workers if they're idle. It is incredibly hard to find t8+ workers. So if you see one, grab them. If you cannot afford the wages just leave them idle and you won't be paying them

7. Mining and smelting workers will move to another ore when theyre done with their stack. I like to put all my workers on verisium and they'll automatically work their way down, unless i urgently need something else.

Quick tip for people struggling with gold for their towns, the Desert Spring is a great map this league. Boss fight spawns those rare and unique scorpions which drop A LOT of extra gold

Small note that I seen at a other Youtuber. The BARS count as 5 times the ore.
Examples: Someone requests 5.000 Orichalcum, that is
A. 5.000 Orichalcum Ore
B. 1.000 Orichalcum bars

5 important things I've learned from shipments:

1. Always incomplete the quest (list of items the city wants), when you do you'll guarantee a unique item
2. The reward itemlevel is based on your character level when receiving it (So if you have many alts swap to your high level one when opening the rewards)
3. When sending shipments if you send pure ore/metal you'll get only gear, if you send pure wheat/food you'll get only currency.
4. Shipment risk increases less at higher value, For example going from 8, 000 -> 14, 000 shipment value might increase my risk from 0% -> 40% but going from 14, 000 to 140, 000 value increase my risk to 74%. Therefore you should either always push risk to the max or stay within the 0% margin.
5. The blue dust increases shipment value a lot 500 -> 50% increase in value.

One important tip disenchanting works top to bottom left to right so load up the last collums with rings and amulet and always fill the fist ones with bigger items so they can work 12-15hour straight (fill the treasury to enable them for that long)

There is a small issue in your video. If it asks to send 4000 Orichalcum, you can send 4000 Orichalcum Ore or 4000/5 (800 ingots) Orichalcum Ingots. The ingots are 5 times the value of ore

the verisium channeling is the same as in crucible league. I usually go for:
50% power if I struggle clearing the zone
75% if I'm compfortably clearing the zone
90% if I'm easily clearing the zone
and 100% only if my build is completely overkill for the zone

And also I've sometimes been using a lot more than 8000 Dust per shipment. There isn't really anything else to spend it on besides recombinating which is limited by gold more than dust. The dust has deminishing returns but if you make a big shipment even a small multiplier can be worth it.

also i recommend if you see any unusual item for your town out in the real world regardless of what ore it is just clear the map around the ore as much as possible in case to make it easy for you. plus, some ores give you a extra bonus killing creatures as well.
