I am from the Czech republic/Bohemia where the game takes place. The thing about this game is the historical accuracy and stunning visuals - the nature in the Trosky region is EXACTLY how it is pictured in the game. Also the history of the land is very rich with battles, cunning, kings, lords and knights stabning each others backs.
The game is an ode to Bohemia and as such it is wonderful. Those who spend time reading the dialogues and books carefuly are actualy getting a very good history lesson as well as the devs collaborated with many historians.
I dont really like RPGs but this one feels different and literally hits close to home.

Do people not know that there are games out there that are very story driven?

There's more to video games than Tarkov, COD, and Battlefield.

In their own right, COD still has a storyline, but sometimes, RPGs rely heavily on dialogue to set the mood etc.

If its not your cup of tea, its just not your cup of tea.
