I am at the end of my life now..Wow, what a ride. This song just reminds me of how much time has passed and how quickly it goes. If you are young, Im not preaching and your life is yours to live as you choose, but trust me--The days are long but the years are short.

My Dad passed away from a heart attack two weeks ago right in front of me. He was 53 years old. I will forever cherish the moments I had with him and I’m so grateful for him showing me the greatest music. Love you pop

I was riding in the car with my best friend when she put this song on the cassette player. I knew she had stage 4 cancer but I was not really accepting where things were headed. The song did the talking for us.
Once in awhile, when it's not too hard to listen to, I play it, let the tears flow while remembering her and missing her. And take comfort in knowing we WILL see each other again.
God bless you, Corrina. You still strengthen and inspire me. Thankyou for being my friend.

"won't you look down upon me Jesus you've got to help me make a stand, just got to see me through another day". James Taylor never lied.

This was the soundtrack of my youth. Those were the sunny times that I thought would never end. Life has gone by and I’m 65 now. Hearing this brings back not just memories but a lifetime.

I lost my sister the day before Thanksgiving 4 years ago, this song came on the morning after and I still feel it was sent by her that morning. James Taylor was one of our favorite "cassette tapes " driving around the mountains of Colorado as teenagers. This song gets me every time. Miss ya Sis❤...Anna

My brother/roommate was killed over two decades ago. I wanted to play this at his funeral, but wasn't allowed. It makes me think of him. I hope he made it to heaven. He'd been in two wrecks, and he was never the same after the second. He had a heart of gold. He really was so fun to hang around. I know...people always talk great about the dead, but he was my roommate for a reason. He had a natural wit. Off the top of his head he would say or sing things that made horrible situations laughable. I miss you, Jamie

My sister Sue left all her albums in our house when she moved out. I was 5 or 6. I discovered this album and song and listened to it so many times I still remember every lyric 50 years later. Thank you Sue. You have no idea how many gifts you have given me that have lasted a lifetime, and not the gifts that costed money, just being there as role model. I love you so much and always. Admiringly, Your little sis Deb

Reading through the comments helps me feels less alone in my grief.
"I've seen lonely times where I could not find a friend, but I always thought I'd see you again"
For 20 years my horse was that friend and he unexpectedly passed yesterday morning. 💔 this song helps me grieve.
