You should try out the Hungary map mod, it is really realistic, you can actually recognize places (I'm Hungarian). It is a map less focused on highways, and more focused on villages and city roads.

map loads till about 70% and then crashes, never had this before and all the other stand alone maps work for me.

I created a new profile and when I choose my base I see the old europe map, selecting any european city crashes the game. How do I get it to work?
