As an Alabaman I can’t understand what they’re saying, but the tones, body language, and beckoning to a cooler full of beer are universally understood and happily accepted

As a Mexican that speaks with Aussies on a daily basis because of my work, I don't understand them half of the time 🤣 and I have been in this job over a year, but I love Australians they are so cool

Love Australians. The only people on the planet who understand just how delicate us North Americans should be treated. They don’t hold unrealistic expectations of us, save us from Crocodiles and hold us just like the baby toddlers we are. Cheers Mates!

As An American I can tell you one thig for sure, I'd be sitting on my luggage drinking that beer. Like why else would I even be there if not to make some friends and memories... what a great way to start, you get a chance to be there doing that before you even have to drop your luggage off at the hotel and you pass on that? Really, like why? Why do you need to get to the hotel so bad? Just kick back and have a beer, you can take it after... besides, who knows, maybe one of your new friends will be a guide or at least tell you about the shortcut that only the locals know. So just sit down and enjoy the beer man, your on vacation.
