I have been experimenting with horizontal forces in my golf swing. As a test to see if I am rotating and creating potential energy as opposed to swaying is to lift my right toes at the top of my backswing. If I have rotated correctly than the pressure/force between the inside of my right heel and the ground will cause my toes to move away from the target. Similarly if I stop at my impact position, if I lift my left toes the pressure between the inside of my left heel and the ground will cause my toes to move towards the target. Does this sound correct. I can’t find much about horizontal forces on the internet but it seems to work for me.
