Is he willing to assert your rights when they are being violated? Including by law enforcement? Does he have the backbone for it? Does he have ADEQUATE legal representation for it?
Is he willing to allow his relatives to treat you poorly? Trust me, there will be one of them who will be testing and trying!

Approaching him when you are within earshot and say things like this "My dad would never let me bring this home!" Or "why you got to downgrade like that, I thought you were doing well?"
You get the point. This is meant to see how he strongly he feels about you, how much he respects you and if he can be shamed into leaving you. If he can be shamed for being with you, run. It is the equivalent of sleeping in a house with NO doors. Everyone can enter. That man will allow everyone to treat you any'ol kinda way

Be honest up front and don't EVER be afraid to bring up issues about race and culture bluntly. I'm not saying be rude, be honest. And if he doesn't respond to that or trys to downplay it? DUMP HIM. Also, don't wait to bring up these things, do it in the 3rd date onward, as you don't want to catch feelings for someone only to find out they're not willing to be in the anti-racist trenches with you.

True I have heard some sad stories of men not realizing that their partner was being mistreated. I’m not into white men at all (besides Henry Cavill lol) but if I considered being with any man of another culture I would want them to be sensitive to how others treat me.

This is great advice in general for interracial relationships. I’m white, and my last boyfriend was Asian. We’re in America. WOW I had no idea the amount of just HEAVINESS and extra external tension that enters your life when you love someone who’s a minority in your country. People staring. Treating you differently. Asking weird questions. We hung out in Asian environments and white environments. The Asian people were nicer to us. You really have to have a good connection with a person to withstand all that. There were areas unrelated to skin color in that he was a man as certain men can be, very much out for his own interests and not caring about mine in too many ways. But yeah, all good to keep in mind if I date another person who is not white. I would manage the daily external tension for a partner who cared for me too. ❤
