Roblox Titanic Carpathia Rescue Update [OFFICIAL TRAILER]

This update completes our goal of allowing someone to control RMS Carpathia to both rescue and dock in New York City. Our goal of increasing the Roblox Titanic universe to contain more new experiences and playability. A common question I see is why aren't we working on interior, and instead adding more to the game outside of the main Roblox Titanic sequence? The simple answer is we are improving the game where we can while we await for real life circumstances to allow for the ship to be remodeled one last time for 3.0. Rest assured, all of these additions will maintain into the game's life span during 3.0, so none of our work with these additions will be affected by 3.0. Our goal is to create as much of the Titanic universe as a Roblox game can handle, and this means at times parts of the game you think should be improved upon will be skipped until a later time, even if our team agrees that something must eventually change. Our team is grateful for your interest and for all of your suggestions and concerns. Thank you for continuing to play!

Our team hears a lot of concerns of how the new Carpathia controls work and we will work on improving these controls. We all agree it is not ideal to try turning and then drift into an iceberg 30 seconds later. We wanted to improve the realistic nature of Carpathia, rather than being a Roblox vehicle that can start / stop at an instant. We will work on finding a balance between realism and controllability.

I wanted to write my experiences of this out. My goal in this was to achieve all 4 badges. I spawned Carpathia and I thought the new controls would be like Dynamic Ship Simulator's controls but NOOO. All they have is a telegraph diagram for speed and another diagram showing your angle to port and starboard. It doesn't show your actual speed, only the controls. The ship moves very slowly and drifts when you try to stop. They said they made the ice field "easier" when it is still hard as hell. You already have to go through a lot to get the top survivals on a server so why make this part hard as well? We aren't ocean liner captains here, at least give us something like DSS's speed indicator. I tried doing this and I only succeed the 2nd time, and even so, it was only a few seconds to the round ending. When I got to New York, I thought I could get a break and the ship would sail itself like Titanic when you save the ship, but it showed me those controls AGAIN and I had to try to dock without hitting anything. In the end I had to dock lopsidedly on pier 54 because I risked hitting the sides of the piers. Sailing Carpathia isn't where this ends, the 4th badge has a picture of pier 59's entrance and tells you to find it. When I got there I didn't get the badge. I tried climbing over the archway and up the 2nd story but I just couldn't get it. It was only after 15 minutes of searching that I found that the badge was on the OTHER SIDE of the pier which is NOT ON THE PICTURE. This update was honestly a letdown. Had to go through 2 attempts of trying to get Carpathia to Titanic in time without sinking her, and I just found the same old New York from the Save the Titanic sequence.

Edit: I also forgot to mention that the controls totally break down with mobile.

In VIP there should be a way to sink the ship in specific ways.
Like having the Poseidon's title Wave capsize the Titanic.
Making it sink like the Britannic.
Making it sink from the back.
Making a head on collision with the iceberg.
And so on.
