I feel like the way Aaron was teaching him how to bs flip was stupid because you can't land on your nose and pivot when you're doing that trick off of sets

That board is too long for him. He needs to get like a mini. That's why he can't land on the nose because he is riding a standard length/wheelbase that is too long for a kid his size

He's got the flip but what I notice he's doing a lot is he's leaning forward and it's making his body go forward too with the board going behind him. One thing I've tried to always keep in mind with my backside heels/kicks is to keep my body vertical with the board

I came here after a 2 hour war with backside flips to which I came up empty handed. I watched the video until 1:27. Your front foot tip sparked something. I went outside and got a proper backside flip first try. Needless to say I liked the video :P

The main reason he wasn't landing them first try is because he is riding an element deck.

I'm in a similar boat. I just cannot grasp the concept of catching it with your back foot but landing on your front foot. I've landed maybe 4 bs flips over the past few months, but nowhere near consistent. Plus, I'm a heel flipper anyways ;P
