Authorities are chasing the driver of a stolen vehicle in Los Angeles Thursday afternoon.

LAPD officers were called to assist in the stolen vehicle chase around 2:50 p.m., as the driver was in the express lanes of the 110 Freeway. It’s unclear where and when the vehicle was stolen, however.

By 3:35 p.m., the driver was heading north on the highway in the Exposition Park area.

"Why did the guy in the truck chose to be a hero." Says the news person. Because 99.9% of the population won't stand up to criminals. The driver boxed the criminal in and then the got out of the way. He stopped this pursuit. Good job to him. High five to him.

In a town where criminals have the cops wrapped around their fingers, I'm not surprised a citizen wanted to help.

That news anchor with terrible commentary.. “why did the guy in the truck choose to be a hero..” because we need more heroes and more people like that person driving the truck. No more being walked on by criminals. The risk you take getting into that situation is why it’s called being a hero you take the risk when jumping into action putting your life on the line sometimes. People like her saying that is why criminals are getting away with these actions

He Decided to be a hero because maybe a child or another driver could have been killed in the next intersection . This do nothing attitude is so sad and pathetic!! Great job driver in the truck 👏👏👏

Absolutely nothing wrong with what the guy in the truck did he possibly saved an innocent life by doing what he did becuz this pursuit had become extremely dangerous given the fact it was rush hour. My only question is why did the driver of the truck wait so long to get out of his vehicle?

That guy in the truck did more than the officers did to try to stop the guy! That guy could have killer someone the way he was driving! Idk why these news anchors are so stupid and don’t see that. This guy saved lives, so he should be considered a hero!
