I always liked that logo. It's a shame that WBTV didn't use it for very long. Seeing the "rolling bars" on the screen reminds me of the herringbone interference I had typically seen between WWAY and WBTV on channel 3 when I was growing up in Central NC. The only way I ever received either station clearly is if the outdoor antenna was pointed SE towards WWAY's tower at Winnabow (between Wilmington and North Myrtle Beach) or WNW towards WBTV's tower at Dallas (north of Gastonia) and also if the signal from either station was stronger than the other. Do you know where (geographically speaking) this was received from?
