Video - Autumn Paper Bag Journal - Part 1 - GIVE AWAY

Hello Friends,

Today we are making a simple paper bag journal using the beautiful Almost Autumn Kit. I just loved this kit so much, I am having a hard time letting it go!

This is the first paper bag journal I have done. It is a little funky, but I love it! I am giving this sweet piece away. There will be two parts to the video. In order to be in the drawing for the video, please either leave a comment on one of the two YouTube videos or over on the blog. I really enjoy engaging with folks, so if you could leave a short comment with your thoughts about this project and what you love about the project or what you really love about fall, I would really appreciate it. I will wait 7 days after the posting of the second video and then draw a winner from the comments.

I love fall the best of all the seasons. The colors are just so beautiful, golds, browns, reds and orange. The smell of the leaves, the coolness in the air. 🥰 I love the blues in this project. Beautiful.

Love how you included the little booklet in the spine of the paper bag folio. A great project and perfect as happy mail. I made a paper bag folio and I find it so interesting to see yours and to see how using different papers and a different spin can give a whole different look... such a versatile format. This is so adorable I even like the smaller signature I think it adds to the look. I am going to do a replay and make one for myself or to send in Happy Mail. I am just working on some naked journals at the moment they are 5 x 7, covered in fabric. I do some and then go back to making ephemera, I seem to like the instant gratification. I am working on gifts for Christmas. Though non are actually Christmas journals. I put journaling prompts on all the backs of tags and ephemera. I call them legacy journals. It's hard to explain. But it comes with a letter to the recipient telling them to share their faith on the pages through the prompts therfore leaving their legacy for their children and grandchildren.
So it's just a regular journal with that added. One was tea time. One lilac. One grandma's attic. All my porch prints. I still have several to go.
