Wow, the transformer stood for 36 years.

I have one of this units. I have replaced the main capacitor and one on the timing board. I am getting 4kv out of the transformer. Is there a way of getting this a bit higher for it can get quite dry were I am and the earth gets a bit poor.? Thanks Tim

I’m thinking my bev3 may have a bad transformer. It pops and both lights come on correctly but it tests 0. My capacitor also tests bad. My question is, would you replace transformer or capacitor or both? The capacitor tests 13 mf.
