T2 IR Module Kit install

*** UPDATE *** Retro Shooter kits now include 4 IRs. All our 19" screen upgrades include 4 IRs so the install for that doesn't change.
To install the additional two IRs on the stock screen, it is very easy to feed two of them up from the bottom between the control deck and the screen. You can also drill the bezel for those two as well, of course.

Your next mod should be the Time Crisis cab, a small PC with all the Time Crisis series, that would definitely rock ! I know you can do it, with the same retro shooter guns or your own.

I just installed the Buy Stuff IR modules in my T2 cab. I am running a I7 PC with a Coinops Light Gun build using one of the Retro Shooter guns attached to the usb port. I have tested a few games and they work well with this setup. I have to use the button on the right side of the gun to fire. Just have to figure out how to get the gun trigger to fire. Another great product from Buy Stuff.

Will the 2 existing (top corner) scew holes on the plexi be too high for the sensors?

Hey guy was wondering if I would be able to remove the plexiglass bezel and hide the sensor behind the artwork that way the sensors are completely not visible? Would the plexiglass or artwork interfere with the functions?

well, the first 2 chapters of this video are so unpleasant you’ve just sold me on the 19” monitor upgrade — besides, the 17” monitor is just too small to play lightgun games anyway

yes, it’s a little expensive — but i deserve the best experience possible with this cabinet.
