So many people hate on Mako Mermaids for not connecting to H2O and such, but there’s so many hidden gems with old and new cast members, and references as well. Plus a lot of the locations are the same as well! I love both shows equally 💕

I knew some of these, but there were some I didn't know about. The actor who played Cleo's boss was also in Reef Doctors & The Bureau of Magical Things (in fact Cleo Massey was also in TBOMT in one episode with another actor that was in Mako Mermaids previously).

oh, actually i think there are 2 different actresses who play Julia! Taryn Marler (Sophie’s actress) plays Julia in season 2, if im not wrong. in season 1, julia is played by a not very known actress called Amrita Tarr :D
