H2O – Just add water is about three teenage girls who can transform into mermaids.😮

After a night bath in a lake, everything is different and as soon as Cleo, Emma and Rikki come in contact with water, they transform and get a mermaid tail. After further experimentation, the girls also discover they have supernatural powers over water like boiling or freezing water. They try to keep their secret from everyone else which makes their everyday life anything but simple. 🧜‍♀️🌊

I'm 22 and I'm not going to judge myself for watching this at any age. I see this show as an art. Jonathan Shiff and the crew have been creating this masterpiece with such love and passion for that. And I'm really thankful for their sense of beauty and aesthetic.
It needs a huge talent and imagination to film like that. Those tails, moon pool, Mako, underwater scenes, music, the mermaids theory and actually every screen view are aesthetically gorgeous.

A few things I loved about this set of episodes.

1: Bella doesn't even hesitate to jump in the water to help Rikki.
2: Lewis playing with slime like an 8 year old boy. Also, after it turns back to water and Lewis says "Do that again", Bella just looks and him and laughs like she completely understood.

Bella has gotten some dislike in the comments, but I think she is probably my favorite character in the H2O series. She could have used a bit more character development (Bella and Will both felt kind of 2 dimensional to me) but I liked what I did see. Actually, speaking of character development, I wonder if they got new writers for the show in season 3 because Rikki, Zane, and Kim all felt off kilter in season 3 as well.
