Mango is the best fruit.
You should go exploring in Taiwan one of these days, they’re also really known for them. Specifically you should go for the Irwin mango (moderate sized red kind) and the Jinhuang mango (the massive yellow kind). Both are generally best in the southern part of the country.

As Malaysian, yes i do have love and hate story with harumanis, if you try to take it home, your whole car gonna smell like mango, and the taste is like gambling, either you're gonna get the sweet or very sour, (i love sour one)
