When i see what happened to albon, gasly, kyviat, vergne, bourdais etc... I realize how tough and talented daniel riccardio is. He survived and compete where everyone else is/was struggling.

I am kinda happy for Gasly that he wasn't at RBR for far too long. Imagine the criticism. It's just his second season in F1, bit inconsistent but has solid drives quite often as well. Give him a break.

Feel bad for Albon. Had transmission issues in the end of Q3 and ended up 10th. Then needed to change it and had to take a penalty. Then ended up second last trying to avoid Carlos after the crash. He still drove well and made good overtakes.

While max is racing with mercedes for wins and podiums this guy is racing with haas, alfa and Williams for a point...

I was hoping that the 3rd place would’ve had a positive impact on him for the remainder of the season, but again, the same feeling as with few other events this season. I hope him to do well, but hard to keep the hope alive when every other or every third event, whatever, he struggles both in qualifying and the race. If he’d finish towards the front more consistently, there’d be less risk for him to get in trouble on the opening laps of the races.

Al the saying they build the car around Max is bullshit, then they did also arround ricciardo when Max stepped in that Redbull for the first time .and win his first race ? Listen i like Albon also but even when the car is hard to drive . This is the elite of drivers right ? He just sitting in a car in where he has to deliver

Albon puts himself in these situations. Okay he got a 5 place grid penalty but if he qualified decently redbull wouldnt have taken it. Also p10 aint that bad with the strategy he got.

Hamilton was right to say what he said about Alex. Once again Albon proved he is the reincarnation of Kovalainen.

Why does everyone have to slate Albon? He's clearly super talented, just needs to get a bit of confidence and momentum. He's also a really nice bloke, and think he deserves more support rather than all the hate.

Even though he struggles during quali, most of the time he fights his way back up the grid and has some of the most ballsy moves while overtaking. I think the main issue is pace and finding a way to get the car to work in his favor because it's such a hard car to work with. People forget that it's literally his second season in F1 he started half way through last year and is doing WAY better than Gasly imo even Horner said so.

Dude just doesnt know how to qualify. And is pretty impatient about overtaking. Still a decent driver though imo.

He seems to be really good with a light car with little fuel left, but almost can’t drive a racy car

His overtakes are some of the best on the grid. This is a hard track to pass on so he managed ok. The rb car is tough to drive and I bet even Hamilton would struggle in it.
