Nigel Discusses His Experience of Weightlessness

As part of his Virgin Galactic astronaut training Nigel booked a flight on board a reduced gravity aircraft. The so called “Vomit Comet” is a modified Boeing 727 aeroplane that provides near-weightless environments. The plane follows an elliptic flight path relative to the centre of the Earth giving its occupants the sensation of zero gravity during each parabola manoeuvre.
