A Deep Dive Into FNAF'S Most INFLUENTIAL Fan Game...

Five Nights at Treasure Island is arguably FNAF's most influential fan game. So in this video I do a deep dive into both "Five Nights at Treasure island" and its sequel "Oblitus Casa" to see if these two fan games are really all that good.

Fun Fact:
The Face is actually supposed to appear on Night 4 in Treasure Island
And his actual first appearence is Pirate Caverns
the hint you get for night 4 refers to him with "the one with eyes" as sort of a more proper introduction and lets you now that he is hunting you down now aswell

Actually, Obitus Casa does have a satisfying conclusion, but you have to do a lot of grinding to get it. To get the final conclusion, you must:

- Beat night 6 to get a new ultra custom night character

- Beat ALL the creepypasta characters for 4 more custom night characters

- Beat Custom night on Max difficulty to unlock YET ANOTHER CHARACTER

- Beat Custom Night again with the new character (True nightmare mode)

Do all this and you get a bonus cutscene where you get to speak to Henry one last time, as you both worked together to try to destroy mother once and for all.

Sad you didn't mention how Willy enters and leaves the cabin. Dude literally has an animation for entering and leaving! Haven't seen something like these in another FNAF fan game before, if I recall correctly. Such awesome detail

I like how it isn't centered around animotronics, wich wouldn't really work as much, but rather about Monsters/ghosts just with the trademark Fnaf gameplay, because Just because it's a Fnaf Fan Game that doesn't mean it has to be animatronics
Pretty unique for a Fnaf Fan Game.
Sad that most of the gameplay is pretty stale and most of the Characters have the same mechanics (in the first game)
Also all of these Character designs are SO SCARY

I would love an FNAF fan game were it uses the Uncanny Valley effect or other types of uncomfterble feelings (like tripophobia, the fear or disgust of patterns, usually holes, being too close)

The best part about this game is, Disney nearly made their own version back during the Wii era. Epic Mickey had a similar premise with distorted mickey characters but the designers wanted to see how far they could push the scary factor and drew designs that were downright silent hill territory. (You can see them google or online btw if you're curious.) So when disney said no to them, they pulled back more and more until disney was okay with them and that's the game we got.

Which is why there are unused endings for mickey where you can become whithered mickey if you deleted (used the thinner) too much and you end up being a scary demonic mickey. This was almost approved by disney themselves btw!

So to see a fnaf fan game with a disney spin do the same thing but allowed to be horrific is amazing to see. Even if Disney is for kids, kids like scary stuff and fnaf is popular enough that Disney could make a game for it if they weren't so restricted. Sadly they are, but at least fan games will always give us what Disney avoids ^^

For Night 3 and Night 5, the phone calls contain ciphers in Base64. (Very common cipher in ARGs and the like)
Just remember to have subtitles on to see the actual codes.
If I do recall, the strings had said things like:
"Henry is dead"
"This isn't him"
"I'm sorry Jake"
"I need a body"
"Hear me"

I don't know if someone beat me to it, but yeah, just in case nobody wasn't able to crack it yet, these are what was said.

I'm kinda surprised that Disney hasn't sued the hell out of Radiance, but it just gives us better fangames so I can't complain

FNATI was definitely a decent attempt for a FNAF fan game, and the sequel made it absolutely fantastic. Great job to Radiance Team.

Theres actually one more cutscene that reveals a good chunk of story, but the only way to unlock it is by beating True Nightmare, the game's final challenge unlocked by obtaining every bonus character.
I am really looking forward to Nightmare Below Disney and Oblitus Casa 2.0 (a huge update to Oblitus Casa that plans to fix every major issue)!

I’m going to be honest, when I saw hourglass die in Oblitus Casa, I started celebrating extremely hard because of the fact hourglass scared me every-time I encountered him.

I LOVE how Oblitus Casa came out with the detailed and horrifying models and it's (semi) balanced mechanics. It's got its flaws but you can tell that this was a project made with love and I appreciate it when developers actually care about how the game fits their vision and what the audience might like to see. I love that the team had more creative freedom with Oblitus Casa, compared to the FNATI remake where they just recreated the game with some extras, you can tell that they went all out with it.

Someone decoded the night 5 phone call that was in base 64. results are: threaded walk, I'm sorry jake, I need a body, they are liars, and I am sorry.

Interesting if you ask me.

A little old fact about Oblitus Casa, the attic was the most broken part of the game. To finish the game quickly, all you need to do is sit in the attic and only have to face normal Mickey. They patched it after FusionzGamer took note of it.

You know I am still glad that FNATI has still left such a cult following to not only for the series to continuing development and finally being released as a full blown better and scarier reboot, but has also begun the pathway to other popular FNAF fan series. Examples such as FNAC, ONAF, Popgoes, TJOC, DSAF, Jolly and many others that brought in the huge influence.

seeing the iconic characters in such a deteroated state really bogs me up, great video!

i love this game, bit disapointing that the first game has the fnaf 2 syndrome of almost every character acting the same.

24:15 The fact that an ad played after the jumpscare makes it unintentionally funny like those phone games that uses ad for giving almost anything to the player

The names of the enemies are really cool, it's not something like "Glamrock Soupcan" or "Funtime Baller"
