I saw Blue Man Group in Vegas back in 06’. They did this on a large scale with skeletons that don’t move at all. But they spin them real fast and they start dancing. Really cool illusion.

saw an experiment of this that used safe for the eyes frequency lasers to create moving holograms in a room.. no glass, or spinning fans, nothing, just very meticulously calculated flashing of the rather dim thousands of lasers

Dude, one time I saw a bird land, a small sparrow, and take a few steps. A moment later, the bird fell over and became totally flat. Turns out it was a leaf the whole time! The brain sees what it wants to see.
