"We've gotta get outta here!" Allen said as he shot a few more rounds into another enemy. "Do you think I don't know that! We just need an opening, " Dylan yelled over the sound of gunshots, before firing off a few more blasts at his front.

They were quickly being overwhelmed, and if they didn't do something, Lord have mercy on them. Allen ducked, holding onto his hat as he did so, still firing. "I think I've got one, follow me, " He said as he ran through a hole in the robotic swarm, with Dylan fumbling behind, suprised by the sudden movement. Dylan turned around, with his hand glowing yellow. Streaks of gold appeared in the air, converging into a ticght ball of energy, which he fired off behind them, causing a small explosion. "Ha! Taste that!".

Allen grabbed hold of Dylan's scarf, dragging him around a corner. They paused, pressing themselves against the wall. They sneaked away, trying to evade the occasional patrol. Once they escaped the facility, they set up camp. The spot was nice, especially since it was clear of those freaky robot things. They layed down, trying to relax after that fight.

"We'll rest here for the night, and tommorow we'll head back to HQ. They need to know about these... things. Got it?" Allen said, setting up the tents to sleep. Dylan sat down on a log, nodding agreement. With that, they went inside their tents and tried to grab some shuteye for the night before tomorrow.
