EuroExa Building Exascale Computing in the EU - Peter Hopton, Iceotope

As the largest group of collaborative projects in the EU targeting Exa-Scale compute, EuroExa announced additional funding in September 2017 which will enable the deployment of the first Pre-Exa-Scalable demonstrator systems in 2018 and Exa-Scalable systems in 2019.

Uniquely, this project group’s holistic approach includes programming models, nodes, chip nanotechnologies, storage, interconnect and data centre infrastructure (including power and cooling.
