Ananya Panday Gets Candid about Love, Fame & Friendships in the Industry | Karishma Mehta | EP 161
Показать описание
“I grew up watching Shah Rukh Khan and the kind of fame he had –standing in his balcony waving to his millions of fans out there. And I always thought, ‘Oh this is what it is to be an actor!’ It was only later that I realized that this man is one of a kind. But the one thing about fame that I learnt from him is – fame is all about balance. No matter how busy he was shooting, he always made sure he was there for his family. And this is exactly how I want to be.”
Ananya Panday — she’s someone who has gotten more than a fair share of hate just because she’s a star kid. But if you look beyond the ‘star kid’ tag, you’ll be able to see what Ananya Panday truly is — a vibrant force with a charm that draws people towards her. Having made her debut in 2019, she has come a long way – from Student pf the Year 2 to Call me Bae, she has taken all the criticism that came her way to grow herself as an actor and an individual.
In this episode, we have a candid conversation with her about how she has changed over the years, her learnings from co-actors and directors, and about owning the privilege that she is born into. From love to friendships, the conversation was no-holds barred.
She is currently enjoying the success of Call me Bae, and one might wonder how similar she might be to the character. If you are one of them, watch this interview — she answers the question herself!
