I really appreciate how you don't shy away from promoting meat. Nowadays it seems like everyone promoting "healthy" eating has to speak against meat, seemingly just because it's popular instead of understanding the importance of the nutrition in meat that we need.

I'd love to see a version of this video, which talks about things you can make at home to fill that protein/fat void. I realize this video is quite valuable to a lot of people who won't or can't add more work to their already crazy day. For people like me though, who want to avoid all the unnecessary packaging (especially the difficult-to-recycle pouches), I'd much rather make several servings of something at home. For instance, I've made the "cheese crisps" at home for years, and it's literally 5 minutes of work. And I'm sure a whole lot cheaper than buying them.
Actually that is another thing that would be valuable: a video on making your own batches of snack stuff, and comparing the money spent making it, vs how much it would cost to buy it already made. Another example of that is the egg bites. Just a few moments of work to make them at home, and they would be *MUCH* cheaper. With inflation and cost of living the way it is right now, the majority of us are looking to save anywhere we can.

I figued that fermented cucumbers (pickles) are great because they have 0 calories but are great for electrolytes, potassium, and probiotics (great for gut health). I love pork rinds or chichirrones

When you mentioned the tuna being in a terrible bag, , I was like, " wait, what?". Then I realized you were saying tear-able bag. Oh english! 😂

Thanks for doing this video. It was super helpful to me. I work evening shift so I typically have a snack or two during my shift. My go too has always been pretzels. And it’s a hard thing for me to give up for a while. So thanks so much for the suggestions

I’ve been doing charcuterie’s like you recommended previously with egg, cheese and olives & it’s such a life saver 😊

Your videos are saving me right now. I am doing my best to get my body healthy. I have a calorie counting app that I love, but I needed help knowing the best foods to eat to make the most of those calories for my body. I've got a long way to go, and much to learn. Thanks for making your videos! I am glad I found them.

I always go for my Cinnamon Protein tea with fat, and go for a 10 min walk. The Cinnamon fights blood sugar spikes too, but after I drink the tea and walk, I have no desire to eat. Thank you because I learned the walking tip from you ❤

4:24 I got a simple egg cooker off of Amazon years ago, and it's so nice. Cooks six eggs at a time in less than 15min with only a tiny amount of water. Just put them in a container in the fridge afterwards and they're a great fast protein snack. I eat them with hot sauce.

🌞 I never snack, thanks to you, but I do make prosciutto boards of "snack" items to create full meals. Thanks, Autumn! ⚘️
Cheers! 🕊❤️ 🌎

yeah, you have seen the meat sticks in fish. Check out 1:26 of this video. I think it shows the meat sticks in deer and fish on the shelf below the one you're selecting the meat sticks in the video.

My husband and I, and our 6-year old, are getting ready to go on a camping trip where we hope to be on the trails early each morning to beat the crowds. This means we'll need to pack a breakfast in our packs on those hiking mornings because we will be out for several hours. We usually have smoothies or eggs at home, but I would love to hear your recommendations for what we could easily pack in our backpacks!

I absolutely love making my own pork rinds. I have a fantastic butcher so I get as many skins as I want I experiment with different flavors in the oven. Tastiest snack there is.
You’re looking good!

A while back I said that LMNT gave me stomach aches but since that time I’ve found out it wasn’t the LMNT. I just wanted to clear that up because I felt bad that I blamed it on the LMNT. My stomach is super sensitive and I’ve realized that I cannot eat anything that’s at all processed. I can drink LMNT again without stomach aches because I am only eating a whole food diet. It’s frustrating not to be able to eat anything that has been processed but that’s where I’m at right now.

Obviously you don't live in rural Northeast Texas. Several items you mentioned I've never seen here anywhere. However, thanks for good ideas. I rarely snack, but will keep your guidelines in mind when I do. Thank you.

it's amazing how hard it is to find the full fat cottage cheese where I live. I love your recipes and ideas because they are all 'real' ingredients that can be found..

I always wonder about the flavourings. Some have added sugar so it'll "cling" better...or flavour enhancers, etc. But I still love pork rinds, eggs and anything cheese!

I have a question about LMNT. I have high blood pressure and take medication. All that sodium sounds scary for people like me. Thoughts?
