Apple unveils new mixed reality headset

Apple showed off a new mixed-reality headset called Apple Vision Pro at a conference. The device blends virtual reality and augmented reality. Augmented reality is a technology that allows users to overlay virtual images on live video of the real world. Apple says the device will cost $3,499 and go on sale early next year.

The big issue with Apple products is that they stop supporting any of their products after a few years and not leave it to the customer to make the decision to change their product. For example, I had a perfectly working IPad 4, hardly used. I have not got the value for the money I paid for that IPad and they stopped supporting. Even if they stop supporting, they do not allow the installation of other OS (such as Linux) and are forcing you to purchase a new tablet. So, essentially Apple products are not worth the price they are stating as compared to Android. Unless I receive a free Apple product in a contest, I wouldn't bother purchasing an Apple product.

Two hour battery life is insufficient unless it comes with 2 other batteries! The price is 200% more than any other quality strap on.
