In the connector configuration u have mentioned the default values for app name as ${app.name}, app version, env values -- will these values be picked from property files or from the pom.xml file.

Does this logger implement an Asynchronous logging strategy?

Can we still use log4j to change the logging level on the fly (i.e switching from Info to Debug).

What steps are needed to write the logs to a different location (i.e different file or a database).

How to handle the masking or hiding of the sensitive data during the logging?

With this logger connector can we have the flexibility to change the log level at runtime like for example: for applications deployed to cloud at
Runtime we can have debug level logs that can be configured?

For distrubution management, you have a repository element under which we got an id, name, url, layout: what does the Id refers to here exactly because you have mentioned something like exchange_repo_dxcp where can I find this value from anypoint platform ?

I have downloaded your code from GIT, do I need to open/import this project into any point studio or eclipse to customize the code?
