In the first episode of #QuarterMaster, 'India: A million opportunities now', investment guru Saurabh Mukherjea of Marcellus Investment Managers tells ThePrint’s Managing Editor YP Rajesh how GST, the telecom revolution, better transportation connectivity and people's own aspirations are helping India integrate economically and that in turn is helping businesses grow, giving investors new opportunities.

Way to go, ThePrint and Rajesh. Present the real India….let the people decide, what to do. Real democracy.

I have been following Saurabh from 2018 and investing based on his guidance (been in equity for almost a decade), my portfolio has done much better than I expected. Nothing against anyone but Saurabh is in a different league. Just my personal opinion.🙏

He is a ocean of knowledge. Such clear concepts for layman like me. If people listen to you carefully they can create their own portfolio without any research. Love this guy.

This is the now by far the Best thing I have ever seen on print.
This was such a relief from the usual things that print does...in the sense that it was so relevant to me...
For this and just this I will finally take a print membership. 🙏
Thank you Y.P. Rajesh for pushing me over the edge

Both Rajesh and Saurabh come across as a breath of fresh air like two regular desis with none of the airs, condescension, fake accents that accompany some others. Saurabh seems to have great clarity on business growth cycles and it is nice to hear realistic optimists like him.

The problem is rent seeking behaviour by government employees at all levels. It's this that slows things down.

This video should have had a Million Views atleast
The fact that it hasn't even crossed 100k yet shows why our country is still not living upto its potential

I thoroughly enjoyed this video, answering lifetimes crucial questions about money and its relationship with families as well as individuals. At ones where its hard to get parents to be ready for the stock markets, mine lived through 90's fiasco - drove them away from markets - permanently, came to time when quality of life (far better from roti/kapda/makaan), life expectancy is rising and retirement planning has become essential. Beautifully explained by Saurabh, and thank you YP Rajesh for this precious interview.

People of this calibre (practical knowledge and insight, and of economics, finance, etc) need to be on an advisory panel to the government of India.
