Aaj Ka AQI is a new show aimed at fixing accountability for a solution to India’s air crisis. For episode 17, Newslaundry went to the temporary residence of former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday.

The AQI reading at the nearest station was 365 or in the ‘very poor’ category. Outside the AAP leader’s home, the PM 2.5 level hovered around 180, while the air detector pegged PM 10 at around 210.

What has Kejriwal done to address the problem?

It would be nice to do the same from home of PM and Nitin Gadkari. Thr fact that pollution has not increased despite increase in total number of vehicles on road shows that some of the measures are working.

It would be nice to know what is working and what is not. One simple thing is that EV are working . What incentives can be provided for people to shift from fossil fuel vehicles to EV or even hybrid vehicles.

Humble request to also do this in front of LG’s residence and ask him about his role as well.

Please stand outside PMs residence and HMs residence as well. Also let us know how Delhi Govrnmnt is solely responsible for this and show the data before AAP took charge and after they took charge. Please compare with what other polluted north India cities and what the statehood government there has done there which AAP could learn from, otherwise you are just being biased in your attempt to look neutral.
