Mr Rick Wright - the spirit of Pink Floyd. David, the soul. Roger the brain. Nick, the heartbeat.
Syd - the seed
Seeing them in the early 70's set me solidly to appreciate their music to this day

I'm 57, I've been loving this music since 1974. and I NEVER get bored with it, because it's timeless, peerless, and it involves Richard Wright.

The best rock band ever, I know there's a lot of bands out there, still I'm standing my ground. ... no one comes close.

When I listen to Pink Floyd all my troubles seem to disappear.

Medicine for the mind.

I don't understand the thumbs down for this video. The music might not be to their liking, but surely they can appreciate the musicianship. Master craftsman and quite possibly the greatest band that's ever lived.

I was very, very lucky to be there at the Royal Albert Hall that night. I remember when the first notes of "Echoes" played I went cold with excitement. I always hoping to hear this played live. One of my all time wishes was granted. Never dreamed that would be the last chance to see Richard Wright and the last David Bowie live performance at the same concert. Any real Pink Floyd fan would understand how magical it was to have really been there.

David Gilmour - one in a billion. Every note he plays, any note he does not play - it is something you cannot learn. You can learn to play like Vai, Satriani, Gilbert - but David is pure talent. A treasure to the world

This is bittersweet, knowing that Rick is no longer with us... Echoes may be my most favorite PF song, there are just so many to choose from. The world was...and still is, so blessed to have had David Gilmour & Rick Wright.
