Vanilla Bean Mascarpone with fresh strawberries on toasted bread.
Mascarpone is a soft and super creamy Italian cheese made from cream. It’s BOMB on its own, but mixed with a little vanilla, cream, and sugar— this goes to a whole other level. Mascarpone is best consumed immediately. However, leftover mascarpone can be stored in the fridge for up to a week.
INGREDIENTS:
+ 1 C Mascarpone
+ 1 vanilla bean
+ 1/2 C powdered sugar
+ 1/2 C heavy cream
DIRECTIONS
+ STEP 1: VANILLA BEAN
Slice the vanilla bean in half (longways) to expose the internal seeds. Carefully scrape out the seeds and add them to a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients.
+ STEP 2: MIX
Mix the mascarpone, vanilla, sugar, and cream until well combined, then serve.
