This was a great episode. The conversation reminded me of three videos the youtuber Ask a Mortician made... She did a video on 'Protecting Trans Bodies in Death', which I HIGHLY recommend watching. Then she has two other videos about the exploitation of women in "freak shows" which highlights how even after 236 years we are still fighting for bodily autonomy. Those videos are 'Iconic Corpse: The Exploitation of Julia Pastrana' and 'Iconic Corpse: Saartjie "Sarah" Baartman'.

I'm not familiar with the drag race drama but (without knowing the context) everything sounded reasonable and I hope everyone in the lgbt+ community can be inclusive of each other's gender identity regardless of gender expressions and people get credit for whatever barriers they broke through. It can't be easy being the first at anything. Sending love as always to all our trans folks in these difficult times. ❤

i support a t4t relationship for peppermint but also potentially bi/pan men at least get the experience of queerness? also potentially men on the ace and aro spectrums could also have some advantages in terms of having to reflect more and see the queer side of things while still being largely heterosexual and/or heteroromantic
