My biggest problem was they just looked like they were slapp together and not created that way.

I think they look way better like that. The sergeant even has a more dynamic pose now, slouching his shoulder to aim the massive rocket

I would personally replace all of the power pack vents with the missiles like you did on the Sergeant but split the launchers down the middle on the grunts.

An idea(expensive but still): mount the missiles to some servo arms like what you would find on a tech marine

That big rocket pad on the sargeant, mixed with the sensor cluster on his bag can be fashion to something like a back mounted javelin missile

If they had different backpacks I would like to see a scaled down version of terminator shoulder rockets. It’s a nice concept.

You nailed it. The back launchers feel a lot more reasonable than "behold! An entire heavy weapons platoon of firepower in one arm!" I particularly like how you did top mounts AND side mounts; it's a nice bit of variation that hints at slightly different uses or technical specs.

This definitely solves the big problem. Any further refinements would be small things that, while looking nice, aren't needed; e.g., adding more tech bits as stand-ins for better sighting equipment, designators, etc.
