It's a beautiful and nice house, but the house is sitting too far back on the plot. It should have been moved forward to create gardens also at the back.
The facade of the house is nice, the compund is beautifully landscapped althouth it can do with a little but more greenery. One thing that still baffles me in most African house designs is the concept of walking straight into the living room or kitchen from the main entrance. That design concept is old. The main entrance of the house should welcome you into a nice hallway, nucelt decorated with plants and artworks, before ushering you into an open living area filled with natural lights and open space.
The open plan layout is the modern-day design that brings the outdoors indoors and flows from one space to another, creating an ambience of freedom, tranquillity, and positive vibes.

ONE thing I have an issue with African builds it that the builders do not put the laundry room inside the houses or they put them in the kitchens and MOST bathrooms are not done well either they put the hot water heaters (boilers) inside the bathrooms and kitchens.

Good finishing but poor layout. Such a house needs a foyer and pantry
