As far as chase goes.. I had no option on the app for an increase. So I called and requested over the phone. I asked if it was a hard inquiry first and she said no so I went ahead and they doubled my limit from 2k to 4K.

Well this just explained something to me. I had an inactive Harley Davidson Visa card with a $500 limit. My wife used it 2 months ago, automatically re-activating it. Next month… my credit score dropped 16 points! I guess it’s time to ask them for an increase. All my other cards are 17k - 25k.

I’m so mad I’m such a dummy!! I called up capital one on the phone and they did a hard inquiry then actually raised up my interest rate from 26 to 27 and turned me down for the credit limit increase!! I should have done it online. Also I put self employed not employed ceo. I’m so dumb but I’m glad I found your channel I prayed for financial help and you popped up the next day.
