This is a good video. Thank you for doing it. I have been to SCarolina many times and stayed twice at Yemassee at the Holiday Inn Express. The carpet looked just like what you had at the Hampton Inn. My carpet was spongee and smelled of mildew. Its odor seeped into a blouse I was wearing the following day, when the blouse slipped to the floor in the night. I went sight-seeing to Fort Sumter the next day when my shirt began to smell when the sun hit it. It was bad! Everybody, even my own family, would not get by me. Everybody that sat behind me on the boat going out to the fort kept gettiing up and moving away from me. I have a photo of a woman making a face and she soon got up and left too. The good side of this is that Fort Sumter has a very small gift shop that has a lot of stuff in it. When I went in there I thought I'd never have time to look at everything and check out (you had so many minutes to get back to your boat). But, alas! My shirt suddenly cleared the whole crowd in the gift shop and I had it all to myself. Regarding the soap that was left in your shower, if it was a big bar of soap, hotels don't usually give you anything but the tiny bars. So if it was big, it was probably the prior traveler's personal bar. Theirs or the hotel's, of course it should have been removed.
