my list:
1. Octopus due to its wide range of attack by its mini rockets helps in not only clearing the path but also takes out the drone lines which you were about to miss hence my fav.
2. The classic : before getting card no. 24 I thought it of no use but once I got it that whooping laser, changed my opinion, glad that they paid tribute to the classic, in contrast to oct its single point damage along with right coordination of movements and super charge makes it coolest and deadliest.

Surprised that you like the Enforcer so much. I always used Octopus to beat levels 12, 13, B1 and B2, but Limp Berserker is the best for high scores (unless you have the temp max fire rate card).

If the Gladius was equipped with a long range main cannon it would have been the best plane. I hope that Infinite Dreams would install another sequel to this great game!

I got a barrier disactivation card then got a Doplegänger that got hit by the EMP rocket

You deserve more views btw u got a sub +1, i love the game as well. My favorite plane is Octa 'cause when the target something and you mow it down with the MG then shift to other multiple targets especial those annoying planes that get away and break your 100% enemy forces medal, also you chain.

thing is, the Swift Justice shoots much faster than the Classic or the Iron Clad. im guessing it also gives +10% weapon firing speed

wow this game's updates came a long way.. i didn't know ambulance used to suck hahah.

My most prefered aircraft during the early levels when i had low upgrades was Octopus, it had more missiles than the rest. The mini rockets help a lot when the enemies are too spread out and you lack room to maneuver. Also helps wipe out large group of weak planes. Also i think its overall missile damage is boosted.

Also in the latest update i think Swift Justice's main cannon is stronger than Enforcer's. I think maybe because of the quantity.. i remember struggling at Stage 3 on insane and I managed to destroy 100% as Swift much easier than i did with the other aircrafts i currently had.

However after getting berserker, Swift gets obsolete. But hey, if I want lesser weapon spread and more concentrated fire, I'd go back to swift.

A little too late but here is my top 3 so far, and it varies by difficulty.
Normal - Insane:
1. Octopus
2. Classic
3. Enforcer
Nightmare:
1. Limp Berserker
2. Gladius
3. Iron Clad
NOTES: I usually use Limp Berserker in Insane sometimes, especially in late stages.
I also use Classic in Nightmare, its laser whip is OP, especially if you time your supercharge properly.

Wow!! I mean like wow!! Listening to what you have to say surprised me. I used only 3 planes! Swift justice, then the Enforcer. And my favorite that I got mostly everything with, the octopus!! I tried all the planes, but once a plane pissed me off i wouldn't use it again! If you pay attention to where those mini rockets go, they give you a head start of destruction that can put you in the driver's seat! And yes I agree that Slow Moe Chan is the best to use with the Octopus!! I love your input keep it up!!!😉

Seeing as most of these infos are outdated, I'll fill you guys in on current SFR planes that has received updates or isn't covered in this video (as of 2023)

1. The classic with laser whip upgrade now has the drones sweep its fire to the side (front to side, each side only cover 1 side), shorter range but high fire rate like gladius. You're basically bringing 2 mini gladius with the classic. Dunno if it's shown in the vid, but the overcharge shots can pierce through multiple enemies until it leaves the screen like the laser, but it gives even bigger damage output than a laser would. Truly a boss killer if you're playing on mobile (gladius still OP if you're on pc)

2. Ambulance has revamped fire scheme, it now separates your fire into 3 direction. Front and 30 degrees (i think) to the side. Now has normal health, but because of its fire scheme it has very poor fire concentration, however useful if you have to rescue and a plane wave is coming on the other side of the screen

3. Iron clad has a megabomb-like overcharge ability, but only the clearing enemy bullet part of it. The size of the clearing depends on how long you charge, but you can spam it if you're in a panic because the smallest charge is still bigger than your plane and lingers for a couple microseconds. You can also move during overcharging unlike others

4. Gladius has its drone slanted to the sides (maybe 20 degree?) With infinite range. Great for dealing with double plane formations

5. Swift justice has a similar fire scheme to sf2014 (all straight shot, no dispersion, all fires at the same time)

My favorite thing about the Ironclad is the bullet destroying wave that spreads out when you fire a charged shot. It gets bigger based on how long you charge.

My favourite aircraft is laser classic (after the update that added stage 13).It is buffed so much that the laser whip is already piercing through enemies and the drones oscillate 90 degrees and they are machine guns.
