CNN what did you want to hear? "If you cross this red line" "I'll draw another?" You are suppose to be reporters. It's embarrassing to hear how you work.

We don't want to hurt Kim Jong Ching's feelings with strong words now do we CNN? Should we just say nice things to him until millions die?

Wait, the concensus was Iraq/Afghanistan war was a mistake and we shouldn't rush headfirst into another one . . . Yet Obama is being criticized for doing just that? NK didn't start their program 8 yrs ago; they've been working it for decades. The only time we successfully halted NK nuclear program was through negotiations and eventually a treaty. A President whose main shtick was that he was a great negotiator should've had this in the bag. BTW if this does break down into all out war, the first people signing up should be all the people in the comment section applauding and saying it's about time we stood up to north korea. Say that shit while staring down the barrel of a gun thousands of miles from home and in a strange land with your life on the line. Then we'll see who the real 'snowflakes' are.

It's not a spirited debate. It's two guys yelling at each other and being offensive.

Ok so here is the breakdown:
The gentleman on the right side of the screen is correct.... mostly. He is obviously too emotional to debate his point objectively. Deterrence is the correct way to go. This doesn't mean we have been sitting idle. What that means is not a preemptive nuclear strike, but a subtle build up of an anti missile defense system. Which by the by is already in place. Once the ICBM gets to a reasonable altitude as to not cause casualties, we launch a couple of those bad boys to take it out. Deterrence. Ok so nuclear threat taken care of and off the table. Why? Why so simple? Because since the beginning of the Cold War we have been designing and perfecting anti missile systems to counter the Russians!!

Ok let's move on.

Now in regards to a more serious imminent and deadly threat. The use of conventional weapons by the North to inflict damage on the south. By way of Seoul. If they can manage to get off even one salvo of artillery fire over the border into Seoul they've signed their very own death warrant. Because conventionally they don't stand a chance.

Now China. China obviously makes a lot of money off of us. We are both heavily invested in each other's success. Money talks. Now all they would have to do is sit by and let us do a quick little regime wipe and then boom presto China moves in and annexes a massive new amount of real estate. They put a puppet in charge and there you go. Peace in Asia.

Albeit expensive peace.

Ben Ferguson, you're such a brown-nosing sycophant in your defence of Trump. "He's (Trump) saying, 'America is not going to be screwed with'." Actually, Ben, what Trump said was, "They (the North Koreans) will be met with fire, fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before." Your interpretation of that remark is heavily diluted, to say the least!

Donald and all his supporters need to learn the words "tact" then move on to "escalation" then on to "fallout".

You've got to love the coordinated force of Trump voters who come to downvote anything CNN posts about Trump.

Woke up to talk of fire and fury, followed by a retort from NK, "a load of nonsense".
For the first time in my life, I agree with North Korea and their blimp of a leader.
