Hi trying to connect to a T21p and there is no EXT port on the phone. Can this work?

Does anyone know how we can make 2 people connect (1 somewhere outside USA who is talking in VOIP phones, and 2nd in USA who is in zoom or google meet or teams or any other platform) communicate through this device? Right now they communicate using laptop’s speaker and phone’s loud speaker but I am looking for a way to make it through headphones directly.

I have found that I cannot get my Vonage, Yealink T41S and Jabra Pro 9465 to work properly with the EHS adapter after a recent ROM update. There are instructions (How to Upgrade EHS36 Firmware_V3.1.pdf) for how to backdate the ROM on the Yealink in order to install a specific ROM on the EHS before updating the Yealink to the most recent version, but it doesn't seem to work. If you have been able to get this to work, can you post it? Right now, I can talk/hear through my headset but none of the controls work.

Thanks for your video Chris. I have the same set up as your video (T46S & EXP40 & EHS36) and everything set exactly like this only I am using Plantronics WO2A headset. I ring the phone and press the button and nothing happens - I can hear the click of the headset cutting in but the call does not answer. I have had this set up for over 6 months and just press the 'answer' button on the phone which isn't good if I am across the room. I have tried with the handset plugged into 'this little guy' but the handset doesn't work and I need it to for others to answer when I am away. I just played a bit more and found out that I have to press the Headset button ON THE PHONE before it recognises the headset EACH TIME so again it wouldnt work if I was away from the phone. I would appreciate any help you can offer. (I am in Australia so prefer not to call you due to the time differences)

Do we need a handset lifter with this phone? I'm upgrading from a really old verticalwave phone to the Yealink TS42 + CS540 and haven't seen any mentions of the handset lifter I currently use with the VW phone. Also, does the CS520 work with the adapter? That headset is a bit comfier.
