How to Migrate an Entire WordPress Site to New Host

📌 𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀

First, check where your website is currently hosted.

Step 1 : To Get Hosting
Choose your hosting provider, we recommand “WebSpaceKit”,
Once open, Go to plans and choose your plan,
Next choose your domain, as we already have a domain
Select ‘I will use my existing domain’, enter your domain & click ‘Use’
Next, choose your billing cycle, fill your details & make payment.

Step 2 : To Copy your WordPress Site to the New Host
Login to your WordPress dashboard
Now to copy your website, install ‘Migrate guru’ plugin
Once installed, enter your email & click ‘Migrate site’,
Next select your new hosting provider,
since WebSpaceKit has cPanel access, you can select that.
Next enter sFTP details, check your mail inbox for the details
Once entered, click ‘Migrate’.

Step 3: To Add New IP Address to your Domain
Go to your domain registrar, where you purchased your domain name.
In DNS settings, change the IP address to a new host IP address.
To get the IP address of new host, open the mail from your hosting provider,
Now delete the IP Address of old host and add the IP address of new host
Once done, check your hosting in hosting finder tool

To activate SSL on your website
click ‘Your domain name ► cPanel’.
Search for SSL, click ‘SSL/TLS status’,
Next click ‘The Checkbox’ near domain, then click ‘Run auto SSL’

So, this how you can move your website to a new host.

Thanks. I had tried othe rplugins like WPVivid backup and all-in-one-WP Migraton all to no avail. This one worked and in about 30mins, I had my site migrated successfully with the FTP method.
