To everybody that missed the point here:

They don't care about the chip. The processor has underfill, wich can result in damage to the pads on the board when removed.Also, overheating the board can cause damage to neighbor components.

This cnc process is done to reuse this board in a board swap.

They will take the processor, nand, baseband, wifi and some other components from another phone that has a defective motherboard (water damage, broken in half, layer short, etc) and put on this clean one to either restore data or fix the phone.

this cpu is glued back with glue, if removed with a hot torch can lose the lead pins and cannot be restored, this is a good way but almost rarely used because iphone only damaged speakers or screen, board main is almost rarely broken
