One of the biggest things I've learned through Bitcoin is not believing what someone tells me on face value, actually meditate on it, chew on, and ask questions. A friend of mine was arguing that close source, is better because it's more secure and because he's in the tech industry I said oh yeah and left it alone This was a eye-opening video

Superb conversation, lot of good points brought up. Open Source needs to fortify itself against Lawfare. The legal scholars are crafting a carefully constructed argument against Open Source, delving into obscure legal principles. The central idea we must grasp is that of "protecting" people or keeping them "safe" - that has to go - it is the centrepoint of our enslavement. If we want freedom there is no safety. I had no safety when I put my life savings into Bitcoin, and I didn't ask for any and I didn't expect any.

Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2023 and first half of this year with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

54:22 my simple math tells me that u keep ur currency options at minimum & limited as possible. Nobody wants or needs 10 (or 3 as jack suggests) diff currencies in hand to make transactions unless they have to. Let's not conflate currency optionality w products & consumables that must deliver varieties & options.
