One mistake a lot of people point out that in this scene just before JfK gets shot, he looks like he was expecting it. In real life, the first bullet missed, casuing JFK to stop waving at the crowd before the 2nd shot hits him in the neck and another shot fatally in the head. If they added the first sniper shot, it would have made the scene more understanding.

To me, its an honor living here in Dallas. My grandma was at the parade that exact same day JFK got shot. She didn't witness him die since she was like near the entrance when JFK arrived, but she told us she did heard the the two gunfires otherwise.

I can see why see why people didn’t like this scene because well first of all, Kennedy looks like he’s expecting it, the assassin has the sniper scope on his forehead, people say they found out by a newspaper and not a radio (don’t know about that one for sure) but I liked it just because of that heartwarming part when Jacqueline and Kennedy were holding hands. It shows true love.

My mom was 13 years old and in her class on November 22nd 1963. Before she died she used to tell me what she was doing that day. She told me her teacher interrupted the class by announcing that President Kennedy had been shot and she was devastated along with the rest of the students

He may have been smiling because reportedly before he was shot, Mrs Connally turned and said to him, "You can't say Texas doesn't love you, Mr. President." That could have been (imo) why he was smiling.

I love the way Lee Harvey Oswald looks through his scope when you pause it on 0:15 he presses it against his forehead and lets his brain do all the work.
