I love how your color grading makes that strat look a little orange. Nice color for a guitar.

Great lesson. I think Bowie plays the opening 2 chords as the open Fmaj 7 shape at the 6th fret then at the first fret, giving a Bb with an open top E and an Fmaj 7. (The Bb can also be played as an open A "cowboy chord" with middle to little fingers and the first finger alternating on open E and F on first string) Try it, it sounds legit. 👍
