I don't agree with LaRussa on this but your take on what he meant with his locker-office comment is just wrong. What he meant is that he is a manager and Lynn is a player and because of that they have different views on the 3-0 nontroversy. As a manager he feels he is supposed to keep the players in line and that includes sportsmanship issues.

La Russa was mad at Yermin for “missing” or “ignoring” the sign not because he hit a HR. Also he understands baseball well enough to understand why his player got thrown at. He wasn’t happy about it but he understand why it happened. La Russa also misunderstood Lance’s comments that’s why he said what he said. Baseball is turning players soft with all this new rules and regulations. La Russa could care less. He’s there to win and win the right way. And so far they’re not doing bad at all

Glad this team has Tony we don't need a Grandpa Rossy type coach..these young men need a leader and that's what TLR is best at..this team lost focus last year fell from first place to 3rd and it cost them in the playoffs..with tlr I don't see that happening..this team will run away with the division..these are adults they don't need agree on everything to work together so no I don't think he's lost the locker room.
