Yeah but many of the games are not made by playdate so many of their specialties are not going to be in most games. Still great indie games nonetheless and a great handheld.

People complain about the price, that’s what it’s like starting a business especially in electronics. Mass production makes things cheaper which you can’t do unless you secure big loans or are already well connected in the industry. When you start a project like this you’re taking a huge risk from the jump. There’s already only a few massive monopolies running every industry and people starting new projects in very specific niches is getting rarer and rarer.
