Vanlife Under the Midnight Sun

I've been travelling in my self-built van, Bertta, for a whole month now. It feels cosy and homelike. I do the same everyday chores I would do at home.

I'm travelling under the midnight sun in the nightless night of the North. This time of the summer the sun doesn't set at all for a few months and it's full daylight 24/7. That light is like magic, sometimes mixing my inner sense of time, but on the other hand, it doesn't even matter. It's summer, it's light and life is quite easy.

I recently found your channel and so far I really like it. I am from the far north of Norway, so I recognize much of what you are experiencing. Today I live in the far south of Norway, but I still long for home. What I am most impressed by is that you don't seem to be bothered by the mosquitoes, which I know are many where you live and travel. We who are from the coast of northern Norway mostly stay there in summer, away from the most intense swarms of mosquitoes.
