840k isn't enough.

Non the less they should have given it to him the day he was released, doubt most don't even know such a rule exist.

On top of it, I bet it's classified as taxable income.

This is outrageous. If you spend time in prison wronfully you should get the lump sum right away. We should be kissing your feet and apologizing for kidnapping you for 23 years. Just imagine the unspeakable horror this poor man went through. Telling everyone you didnt do it and going through the hell of prison being beaten or worse because you're considered a rapist. 1 Million isn't enough. Your health, your mind, your opportunity is destroyed after 23 years inside. This guy needs much more than what they're trying to deny him already. The people who prosecuted him and the judge who convicted him needs to be investigated as well.
