I don't climb and I don't follow climbing, I heard of his death and had to see who he was. This man just lived more in this short video than I have my entire life. I solute you sir. I am sorry for your loss. You seemed so free and that is the most tragic loss. God speed.

Rip Brad, you're like a long lost friend that I didn't know personally but inspire me to climb.

My sincere condolences to everyone who loved him. What an incredibly gifted guy. He left too soon.

Brad Gobright deserves so much more credit than he gets, he's just such an incredible climber.

Brad was kind enough to say hi to me and ask me about my broken leg. He sat next to me when we both first watched his reel rock film on the nose speed record at the Castro theatre in SF. He smelled like a dirty climber but his heart and soul filled the entire theater with laughter and awe. RIP my brother.

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate how he clipped that QuickDraw like it was a cam, he unclipped it and put it in his mouth and instinctively tried to grab a trigger 😂

It's nice to see a climb hero be so humble and simple. He's not trying to make it somehow spiritual or overly epic: just good'ol hard climbing.

RIP 💔Right before I went to Yosemite last year, I was at a film festival where they showed a video of Brad. Went to Yosemite and got to meet him there. Such a cool quirky person and an amazing climber!

I spent my summer working in the employee gym in Yosemite watching Brad bum wifi and try to finesse free meals in the cafeteria. Such a humble down to earth guy. You would've thought he was just another Yosemite climbing bum if you didn't know his face. Rest in peace man.

What makes these great climbers great is their incredible endurance, unbelievable. RIP Brad, you were an incredible human being.

Great little documentary. I'm not a climber but I can certainly feel his good character. Sad he passed away but he did it climbing.

His climbing technique and footwork were clearly on another level! Rest in peace Brad.

A great film about a phenomenally bold, strong and committed climber. Whilst I think Cedar's heart was in the right place, I think his film doesn't do Brad justice. He is an amazing climber and the fact his persona bucks the trend of being "cool" I think in reality this talks to so many more people in climbing because it is so honest. I hope that the sponsors and film makers are reading or listening to these kinds of comments!!

Brad Gobright, a very brave and talented climber and explorer of heights, RIP. I wish I had your determination and spirit of adventure, and bravery to see all those wonderful sights. All good wishes for Brad's family and friends.

Got curious because of the picture under the rock.. never accidentally found such a tragic story. Rest in peace for both of them.

I was so shocked to find out he passed. Rest in peace Brad, another bright climber gone before his time.
