Just knocking out some of the grunt labor that every restoration requires. Paint prep and painting, rebuilding the wheels and repacking the bearings. Prepping the gas tank for sealant. Here is the list of stuff I used:

Total Spent so far: $168.50

Fantastic colour . Another great video . Thanks for uploading. You mentioned in the first video that there were hundreds of you tube videos for engine dis-assembly, but, in my opinion, your presentation and honesty makes your channel superior. Looking forward to the rest of the build.

David, I can’t believe you rattle canned that paint job. Looks amazing! Also you make the best moped videos on YouTube. You really give us hacks something to shoot for.

Why didn't you do the tank BEFORE painting? A set of silver snowflake wheels would look beautiful on that. Nice Tomos TTLX you have there. I had a red one, but I am disabled, and got to where it hurt really bad getting my leg over the seat, so I sold it and got a 1979 Sears Free Spirit Deluxe (Puch Kromag) stepthrough. I paid $950 for that, then I had to put new tires and tubes on it, and replace the carburetor. Yes, I actually had to replace the entire carburetor. I got a new Bing, didn't want to go chinese. The PO had left ethanol gas in it and it totally destroyed the carburetor. Fortunately the tank was not rusted. So far I have almost $1500 into it, with all the various bits and bobs, and I'm not doe yet. It will be a lifelong project (also known as a motorized money pit) But the fun makes it worth it.

Hey men really loving your videos! Watched them all last months. I'm building a puch maxi-N model and have rebuilded the engine following your video of the e50 rebuild. Awesome! Also love the part that you put the front fork in wrong 😋 nerd NERD 😂 greetings from the netherlands. Bas V

Rewatching this for the hundredth time to try and absorb some of your moped juju. I'm currently in the process of stripping down my frame and painting. I'd love any pro-tips or words of advice/caution. Also, curious as to what drill bit you use to remove the vin tags?

Thanks a million!! I really love your vids!!
